We’re Olsson—engineers who seek to improve the communities we serve. We also seek to improve every conference we attend by adding a time of celebration and relaxation. That’s why you’re invited to join us for a fun-filled evening on Thursday, April 4, 2019, as we close another incredible day of The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Missouri Valley Regional Conference in Kansas City.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., we will enjoy refreshments on the rooftop terrace of Corrigan Station. Come enjoy incredible views of Downtown Kansas City in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District. Corrigan Station was once home to one of the most famous Kansas City companies, the Donnelly Garment Company, the largest dress manufacturer label in America from 1927 to 1948.

And what’s a trip to Kansas City without indulging in a little BBQ? At 7 p.m., the Kansas City American Royal team will teach us the tricks of the trade to judging BBQ sauce. You’ll also get to meet famous BBQ professionals and celebrities. After the finger-licking-judging, dinner will start at approximately 8 p.m.

Transportation will be available to and from The Fontaine. Buses will leave The Fontaine at 5:30pm and 5:45pm to head to the dinner and take groups back to the hotel at the end of the evening at 9:00pm and 9:30pm. If you choose to drive, you can park in the garage across the street on Walnut; use garage code 2019#. If you’re not ready to head back to the hotel, the state-of-the-art KC Streetcar runs about 2 miles between River Market and Union Station on Main Street, and the Power & Light District is not far away.
